The weather in Pennsylvania in the fall can be sublime. I was in Gettysburg in early October to document the wedding weekend of Andrew + Cait and their families. The weather did not disappoint. I could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend, a more idyllic setting or a more delightful and down to earth couple to spend the weekend with. The celebration began Saturday night with a rehearsal event at the new, modern and very elegant Visitors Center in the National Military Park. I was so impressed with the place, that I plan to return on holiday with my wife and family later this fall. On Sunday, we moved to the serene setting of an amphitheater in the park for a unique wedding event, written and directed by Andrew and Cait. As the sunlight faded, we captured a few images in the park, then headed for the reception at the Historic Gettysburg Hotel, circa 1797. The toasts complete, the garter found and tossed and the cake cut and tasted, the night rocked on to the steady beat of Round Midnight.
